Present have always been brought into Mary's shrine.
Among the wealth of artifacts and liturgical robes of the shrine from the year 1592, seven silver chalices, a silver pyx, a large silver cross, a silver censer, 20 gold rings, a number of pieces of silver jewelry, especially necklaces, 26 large wax candles, and four silver chasubles stand out.
Thirteen chalices are mentioned in the year 1598, and in 1618 a votive gift, a necklace, from Montenegro.
According to a list from 1622, the shrine held 23 silver gold-plated chalices, 607 silver and gold votive gifts, 22 gold rings, three gold medals, three pearl necklaces, eight chasubles, and 28 silver-plated plates.
After the victory over the Turks, on May 15th, 1654, the citizens of Perast commissioned the crafting of a large silver plate. The relief on the plate represents Perast, two islands, and Verige. The sea, the waves, the islands, and the town itself are all very finely crafted. Above the town, on three sides, Turks attacking Perast can be seen.
In 1681, a medal and 129 rings were donated to the shrine. They were made by a Venetian goldsmith, Antun Florido; in the year 1733, Captain Vicko Smeća donated a silver cross with a silver stand and a reliquary inside the cross, containing a relic of the wood of the cross and a relic of St. Bernard. On August 14th, he also donated a chasuble, a cape, two dalmatics, a stole, and six silver dishes with six palms of Vincetine flowers.
On August 15th, 1737, Anjeza, the wife of Matija Zmajević, donated a chest cross with jewels that belong to her late husband, a Russian admiral, to the shrine. On the same day, Captain Antun Grubašević, a well-known maritime expert, who was the first one to draw a map of the Adriatic Sea to be used for coastal maneuvering, donated six silver candlesticks bearing his coat of arms, a winged dog holding a sword and a roll of parchment in his front legs (symbols of courage and wisdom).
In the year 1750, Petar Bane donated his precious knight's cross, decorated with 16 diamonds and a gold chain.
In 1748, Captain Vicko Smeća donated a silver icon lamp to the church, to show his gratitude for the grace and mercy he received during his voyage to England and Lisbon on board his ship Leon Coronato.
In 1754, on the first centennial of the victory over the Turks, the Perast parish donated a gold crown, chain, and medal. That same year, the canopy made entirely of silver in the ornate Baroque style, with a gold-plated cross on the top is also mentioned. The cross is decorated with precious stones, and is being held by two hands (the symbol of Perast) on a stand that looks like a cloud. Around it is a garland of artificial white flowers. It is regularly laced on the painting used during the festive procession on the 15th of May.
Captain Antun Begović donated four silver dishes with palms to the shrine. In 1854, on the occasion of the second centennial of the victory over the Turks, the Perast parish donated a gold medallion with a large chain, the work of master Schiff from Trieste.
In 1858, Dr. Antun Bašić donated a silver flower dish.
